Day 1
Fly overnight from London to Hanoi.
Day 2
Arrive to Hanoi today. You will be met on arrival at the airport by your private driver and guide who will transfer you to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and explore at your own pace.
Day 3
This morning explore the city on a private walking tour with your guide. Visit bustling markets, narrow streets with cosy coffee shops and learn about the local culture. The rest of the day is yours to explore on your own. We recommend visiting the museums and historical sites.
Day 4
Transfer this morning to Halong (approximately 2.5 hours away from the city) and embark upon your overnight cruise on a traditional junk boat. Marvel at the breath-taking views in this iconic bay and enjoy kayaking, swimming, and visits to local beaches and caves.
Day 5
Wake up to witness the sunrise over the bay and then continue the cruise, before docking and flying down to Central Vietnam. Transfer to your hotel in Hoi An to check in and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 6
This morning enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Hoi An and be charmed by one of Vietnam’s most picturesque towns. On the tour you'll make stops at the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful Chinese communal hall.
Day 7
Today is free to explore the city further or to relax on the beach. If you would like to add additional experiences here then we highly recommend a cycling tour through the picture perfect countryside.
Day 8
This morning you'll take a short flight to Saigon and from there the day is yours to explore the city - tonight we recommend adding a vespa street food tour where you'll whizz through the town aboard a Vespa and eat food with the locals.
Day 9
Today head 1.5 hours outside of Saigon into the countryside for a private sightseeing tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels. Here you'll discover the underground tunnel network system and have the opportunity to crawl inside to experience first-hand what life was like living underground.
Day 10
Start your morning with a short flight to Phu Quoc to begin your beach break. Vietnam’s largest island sits just over 10 miles off the Cambodian coast.
Day 11
Free day at leisure to enjoy your island resort. Phu Quoc offers white sand beaches, great diving, and, in the interior, an abundance of lush green and bubbling streams. It is also one of the very few places in Vietnam where you can enjoy the sun setting over the sea.
Day 12
Second full day at leisure - explore the local sights or make the most of the sandy beaches for your last full day in Vietnam.
Day 13
Today you say goodbye to Vietnam and transfer to the airport for your departing flight back to the UK
