Day 3

Morning city tour of Hanoi - visit Uncle Ho's resting place, his former residence, The Temple of Literature and the famous One Pillar Paogda. Spend the afternoon exploring the city further at your own pace. In the early evening head to the outer suburbs for a unique experience - dinner at the local home with a Vietnamese family

Day 4

Leave the city this morning for your next stop; Mai Chau. Discover a rare haven, surrounded by lush tribal villages and glistening paddy fields. Spend the afternoon exploring the valley with your guide before a cultural dance performance this evening

Day 5

Full day at your leisure in Mai Chau - enjoy cycling, light trekking, rock climbing and relaxation

Day 6

This morning continue to Ninh Binh to enjoy the scenic quintessence of Vietnam. Enjoy a private guided tour of Tam Coc & Hoa Lu, including time cruising on a local sampan or cycling through the countryside.

Day 7

After breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay for your overnight cruise. Board your junk boat and set sail to spend the night on the water. An essential element in any Vietnam holiday!

Day 8

After an unforgettable cruise, great food and excellent service, say goodbye to your crew and continue back to Hanoi. Freshen up at a local hotel and enjoy dinner before your next adventure; an overnight train ride to Hue.

Day 9

Arriving early into Hue, you will be met by your guide and taken to your hotel to check in and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure before sightseeing in Hue. Visit the Imperial Citadel, the Royal Tombs to the Nguyen Emperors and enjoy a visit to a local market

Day 10

Morning drive to Hoi An over the Hai Van Pass. Make a stop along the way at the fishing village of Lang Co and check in to your hotel in Hoi An this afternoon. Spend the rest of the day exploring the ancient town with your private guide on an informative walking tour

Day 11

Full day at leisure to relax on the white sand beaches or add in another local tour - Hoi An has a lot to see!

Day 12

After breakfast, cycle through the rural backlanes to a traditional organic farm. Here you will learn how to tend to the crops like the locals, before a short cooking class. Enjoy the fruits of your labour and spend the rest of the day at your leisure in Hoi An

Day 13

Morning flight down South to the bustling city of Saigon. Take an afternoon tour of the Colonial sites with your private guide

Day 14

Full day excursion to the Mekong Delta. Cruise the tranquil backwaters, visit the floating markets and venture back on shore to explore the orchards, farms and local villages.

Day 15

Today you say goodbye to Vietnam and transfer to the airport for your departing flight back to the UK
