For us, adventure in Vietnam is all about getting a little further off the beaten track than usual, and perhaps slightly out of your comfort zone: it’s incredibly rewarding and will leave you with a real appreciation of the country. So we’re thinking overnight treks deep in mountainous territory with picture-perfect rice paddies and intriguing local tribes, or maybe visiting remote national parks with stunning rivers and caves. Of course you can get your adventure a little closer to the main destinations as well – what about a motorcycle tour of Dalat, diving in crystal-clear waters, or hopping aboard an old American army jeep and bouncing through the jungle to remote temples, like a latter-day Indiana Jones?
