Although not exactly an “Ancient House” as such, this delightful hotel is surrounded by paddy fields and a sleepy riverside town, and offers a great base to explore the vibrant city of Hoi An. For easy access guests can enjoy a short cycle to the historic quarter or hop on the hotel shuttle and head to the white sand beaches close to the ancient town.
The 96 rooms are decorated in a charming, contemporary Vietnamese style and feature air conditioning, cable televisions, Wi-Fi connection and en-suite bathrooms. With a choice of rooms from private villas to cosy suites, guests can enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding countryside or pretty gardens. Ancient House is also a great family option due to the availability of triple rooms and connecting rooms, making a getaway with young children that little bit more relaxing.
After a cycle around town, head back to the hotel for a dip in the inviting pool which certainly takes full advantage of the beautiful rural setting. Or alternatively, enjoy an introductory yoga class in the resort’s own studio before a refreshing cocktail at the Pad & Buff Bar. For the little ones you can also make use of the large playground in the hotel gardens or set up for a day of swimming, sandcastles and sunbathing on the private hotel beach.
